In
one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things. |

The
Bible is the only infallible and authorative written Word
of God. It is our only rule of faith and conduct. |
|
The
deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son
of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected,
ascended into heaven, and now is seated at the right hand
of the Father, and is true God and true man. |

Redemption
from sin is only found in personal repentance and godly
sorrow for sin. This is personal salvation through faith
in what took place at the Cross of Cavalry and the precious
cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed on the
cross so man can be redeemed. |
|
The
resurrection of the dead and the eternal happiness of
the saved saints, and the eternal damnation of the souls
lost to Satan and his wicked works. |

In
the Divine healing, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The practice of the laying on of hands on the sick so
that they may recover. Through the prayer of faith exercised
in the healing process for the deliverance from difficulty
in the believer's life. |

In
water baptism and the Baptism of/in the Holy Spirit as
distinct from the New Birth. Exercising the speaking in
tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4)
and evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. This is available
for all believers who desire the fulfilled Christian life
sanctifying them to a life of obedience and holiness. |

That
the Blessed Hope is that the return of the Lord is expected
and if He so wills shall return at any moment. However,
according to Scripture it appears that there will be a
time of tribulation and great tribulation whereas the
church might experience some difficulty but never to endure
the wrath of God. The church will be gathered up, raptured
as saints prior to the wrath of God, As to the timing
of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is not identified,
yet the promise of return is expected. |

Our vision
is simply to be the church. We are a place where people are
accepted in an atmosphere of love and grace, a real place
for real people; A powerful place where the Bible teaching
brings a God-focus and direction to all; A place where lives
are changed and transformed with hope and assurance; An exciting
place where people can invite their friends who've never been
to church; A place where the Spiritual-filled life abounds.
We are a growing church and are seeking those who have talents
and gifts to be a part of our growth by giving you an opportunity
to serve the Lord with gladness.

Morning
Star Chapel of DeLand is an independent, non-denominational
body of believers who desire unity with all who acknowledge
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We are a free church with
no denominational hierarchy. Those who attend come from a
wide variety of backgrounds and doctrinal persuasions and
yet we have found a oneness in Jesus Christ. All who enter
will find a family of believers who are committed with an
open heart and a warm welcome.

Worship Services - |
|
Our Sunday
morning worship services are designed to bring attention
to God and honor Him for who He is and what He has done. We
worship and agree with the Scriptures that God inhabits the
praise of His people. We at Morning Star consider our Sunday
morning a time to welcome all people. We are a church that
is non-threatening, exciting, fun and meaningful. Our Children's
Church teaches the importance of living a life of obedience
to the Lord.
God loves
the variety of ways we come to Him in worship. You will hear
music that is inspirational and not very traditional. You
may hear testimonies of people like you on how Jesus Christ
has made a difference in their life. The message from Pastor
Peter is practical and relevant to the issues of life. Our
commitment is to teach the Word of God and equip the saints
for life and ministry. We are "Walking in the way
of His Word."
